Whale Sharks & Coral Reefs
In briefGorontalo is known for its whale sharks. At Botubarani, just outside Gorontalo city, they often come close to the shore, so you can snorkel near them without a long boat ride; sightings depend on the season and are never guaranteed. Offshore, Olele Marine Park adds clear water, coral walls and distinctive underwater landscapes.
